Our inspiration

Inspired by one very good dog

Packs was inspired by Minnie — a warm, curious pup who reminds us that the best care is about more than getting outside for a quick walk. Dogs thrive on fresh air, movement, routine, and connection.

Founded in Greenwich, Connecticut, we set out to offer local families a more thoughtful experience: small adventure groups, dependable private walks, and a true sense of community — where dogs feel happy, safe, and understood, and owners feel informed and at ease.

How it works

A careful path to the perfect pack

Every new dog earns their place with a trial outing — reviewed by Nicolle before, during, and after.

  1. 1

    Tell us about your dog

Share your dog's personality, health, and schedule — and your address, so we can match you to packs in your neighborhood.

  2. 2

    Book a trial pack day

Pick an open spot in a nearby Adventure Pack. The first outing is your dog's meet & greet with the crew — Nicolle personally reviews every new dog's booking before pickup day.

  3. 3

    Get the thumbs-up

Nicolle rides with your dog, sees how the day goes, and confirms the fit — with a photo report so you see it too.

  4. 4

    Join the pack

Book freely, grab a standing weekly spot, and watch your dog build real friendships with a familiar crew.

Safety first

Premium trust, by design

Peace of mind doesn't come from good intentions alone — it comes from clear systems your dog can count on, every single outing.

Small, curated packs

Up to five carefully matched dogs — never high-volume pack chaos.

Secure transport

Every dog rides in its own secured crate or individual kennel space. Never loose, never crowded.

Insured & first-aid certified

General liability with care, custody & control coverage, plus pet first-aid/CPR training.

Careful screening

Every new dog's first outing is a supervised trial ride — full pack privileges come only after Nicolle confirms the fit.

Weather-smart

We shorten, reroute, or reschedule outings whenever conditions aren't safe.

Real communication

Photos and a report card after every outing, so you're never left wondering.

FAQ

Good questions, honest answers

Where do you operate?

We serve Greenwich, Connecticut and the immediate surrounding neighborhoods, with door-to-door pickup and drop-off.

How big are the groups?

Adventure Packs are intentionally small — up to five carefully matched dogs — so we can focus on safety, enrichment, and each dog's experience.

What if my dog isn't a fit for a group?

That's completely okay. Many dogs thrive with private walks or one-on-one care. If the trial pack day shows groups aren't your dog's thing, we'll recommend the best option for your dog.

Is my dog safe in a group?

Safety comes first, always. Dogs are individually secured in transport, kept leashed except in approved settings, and every pack is screened for compatibility. Dogs with unresolved aggression or bite history aren't placed in groups.

Do you offer off-leash play?

Our core outings are controlled hikes, sniff-walks, and trail exploration on leash or long-line where lawful — not unsupervised off-leash play. Safety and predictability are the point.

How do I get started?

Tap Book a walk — you'll set up your dog's profile and pick their first pack day in about two minutes. That first outing is a supervised trial where your dog meets the crew.
